Frequently Asked

Are you covered by OHIP?

Private Eating Disorder Treatment is not covered by OHIP, though most benefit plans do provide at least partial coverage.

Are you covered by Insurance?

Yes. Most of our services are recognized by insurance companies and we provide each client with receipts to submit for reimbursement.

Do you provide inpatient care?

We are a virtual, outpatient recovery Centre by design

Do I need a referral to access your services?

No, we welcome anyone to self-refer.

What is the cost of treatment?

Due to the nature of individualized care, treatment costs vary depending on the amount of time spent with practitioners each week, and the amount of services required. The Centre aims to be completely up front about costs and treatment maps with those interested in working with us. We offer a wide range of services in hopes that each person can access support.

Do you have payment plan options?

We’ve partnered with Medicard to provide payment plan options should clients require financial assistance in order to access our services.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat the entire spectrum of eating disorders and disordered eating. We do not require a formal diagnosis from any client; anyone who identifies having a preoccupation with food and the body is a candidate for our program.

Do you only treat women?

No, because eating disorders can affect everyone - not just women. We are an inclusive space and treat anyone who identifies as having an eating disorder or disordered eating, and their loved ones.

I think someone needs help, but they don’t seem ready.
What can I do?

It is rare for people to ever feel “ready” for recovery. We encourage anyone hoping to support a loved one to book a complimentary call with us, to discuss ways to approach this very common situation.
