We believe that reaching full recovery from an eating disorder requires different modalities working together in cohesion. Our approach emphasizes long-term recovery and involves close collaboration with each client’s medical team to create personalized, holistic treatment plans.
Clinical Therapy addresses the emotional, psychological, and relational roots of eating disorders through safe and confidential discussion. The Centre implements a unique approach to uncovering underlying causes of eating disorder symptoms, providing practical tools and techniques to aid in healing.
Our Registered Therapists provide:

Nutritional Intervention interrupts active and unique rules and rituals that each client has with food, striving towards long term consistency, regulation, and safety.
Our Nutrition Team focuses on symptom interruption, refeeding, and food stability through:

Confronting Food Rules & Rituals
Personalized Meal Planning & Prepping
Food Shopping & Cooking
Naturopathic Care
At The Centre, Naturopathic Care is integrated into multiple facets of each client’s treatment plan, playing a central role in long term recovery.
Our Naturopathic Doctors work in close collaboration with clients’ external medical teams to ensure continuity and physiological stability. Their work includes:
Analyzing current health concerns (ie. IBS, sleep hygiene, immune dysfunction, and hormonal imbalances) and recommending the appropriate combination of supplements, herbs, and lifestyle changes to better optimize body, mind, and mood
Providing metabolic and nutritional recommendations to solve for the physiological impacts of eating disorder
Identifying and separating legitimate food sensitivities from eating disorder rules and rituals
Debunking health and wellness myths and providing evidence-based food / self-care strategies
Embodiment Practices
Eating disorders can sabotage one’s ability to connect to their body. Embodiment Practices help clients reconnect with themselves, seek reprieve from emotional experiences “stuck” within, and release tension and anxiety to promote self-acceptance.
Our Embodiment Practitioners integrate various modalities in order to reach a harmonious relationship between the body and mind. These include:
Somatic Therapy
Yoga & Movement
Reiki
Meditation & Mindfulness
Meal Support
Meal Support interrupts eating disorder symptoms by creating regulated and supervised meal times seven days a week. The Centre is unique in offering both 1:1 and Group Meal Support. Our Nutrition Team helps clients both establish personal accountability, and also experience ease and comfort with eating by:
Creating customized eating schedules that fit with each client’s daily commitments
Providing daily support and encouragement at (some or all) meal and snack times
Re-establishing hunger and fullness cues through consistent eating routines
